Who we're looking for
We're looking for a Sales Specialist!
As the Sales Specialist you will develop the new logo sales, prospecting organisations, working alongside the relevant Microsoft Account teams to establish new sales leads and develop sales through your own activity. In this role you will promote and sell Microsoft cloud-based services and products offered by Transparity. Once an initial sale is made the Business Development Manager will then be responsible for maintaining a long-term relationship and being accountable for the outcomes achieved within the established customer base until the account is ready to hand over to an Account Manager, enabling the Business Development Manager to remain focused on winning further new-name customers.
What you'll be delivering
  • Proactively engage with new prospects to drive interest and pipeline for Transparity product and services  
  • Proactively engage with relevant Microsoft Sales and Demand Generation teams to drive new leads for Transparity 
  • Achieving set sales targets 
  • Determining what customers business requirements are and make recommendations for solutions to meet those needs 
  • Articulating solutions and services in both technical and commercial terms 
  • Completing pro-active activities in line with measures outlined within set KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)  
  • Attending and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development  
  • Delivering sales presentations to customers 
  • Be responsible for driving and attending client meetings  
  • Ensuring that you maintain and expand relationships with existing clients  
  • Compiles quotes and detailed proposals for prospects and customers 
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients and prospects by phone and email 
  • Maintaining a close relationship with key partners such as Microsoft 
  • Adding notes and maintains CRM records in a detailed and up to date fashion 
  • Working closely with suppliers, negotiates costs of services and products to support a healthy margin 
  • Approaching potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means 
  • Facilitating successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company
  • Studying and understanding all facets of the IT products and services being offered
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with all clients within your portfolio
  • Traveling regularly to see clients, attends tradeshows, or participates in industry events or trainings when required 
  • Responding to customer requests in a timely fashion 
  • Answering any technical questions the client might have 
  • Engaging with technical teams to initiate project and or service delivery
We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following
  • Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English (minimum of grade C)
  • Previous Sales Experience Selling Microsoft Cloud Technologies
