Technical Architect: Azure

Who we're looking for

The Technical Architect will deliver high-quality based deployments to our customers and fully own the end-to-end project cycle including customer facing workshops, scoping, design creation, delivery and handover.

What you'll be delivering

• Leader of projects/accountability for delivery of complex workstreams
• Responsible for project work and have at least one development day per month
• Responsible for the full project lifecycle (Scope > Design > Deliver > Handover)
• Running scoping workshops with the customer to understand project and technical requirements
• LLD/HLD design creation based on the information gathered from the scoping sessions
• Project delivery via Portal or IaC alongside Principal Architect (Support)
• Creating handover documents and final handover workshops
• Assisting other members of the practice and wider business with technical queries
• Learning and researching towards new exam or certification
• Contributing to practice improvements including Automation, processes, offerings or blogs

We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following

Ability to consult and advise customers; interpreting technical requirements into actionable statements of work.
Well versed in Azure IaaS / PaaS based services, along with complex hybrid networking scenarios.
Thorough understanding of complex application / infrastructure architecture(s).
Ability to manage key / senior stakeholders
Azure Architect Expert Certification
Azure Administrator Certification
Azure Project management and delivery
An ability to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high-stress, high-impact situations
Ability to author high-quality technical documentation and designs
A deep understanding of Azure best practice processes, standards, and architecture
Ability to discuss Azure technologies comfortably and on the fly during customer facing workshops
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent listening, communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills
Ability to work to customer and internal deadlines
Takes pride in actively developing skills
