Junior Consultant: Modern Communications

Who we're looking for
The Junior Consultant will work with the Lead Consultant: Modern Communications, along with Technical Consultant(s) and Support Desk function, to deliver high-quality deployments to our customers. This role focuses on customer-facing workshops, project delivery, and handover.  
The Junior Consultant will act as an escalation point for support queries, building knowledge and experience within the Support Desk.
What you'll be delivering
Operational Project Delivery: 
  • Running workshops with customers as part of the Modern Communications Managed Service offering, understanding technical and functional best practice changes, and showcasing Transparity skillsets and offerings.
  • Creating support documentation as required for standard Support Desk requests.
  • Upskilling Support Desk staff as needed.
  • Delivering end-to-end project delivery for Calling Plan and Operator Connect opportunities.
  • Leading Pilot, UAT, Migration, and Go-Live support aspects of more technical deployments initially, building knowledge to expand into deployment phases when ready.
  • Creating handover documents and completing final handover workshops.
  • Engaging in learning and research towards new exams or certifications with both Microsoft and Audiocodes relating to SBC and VOCA Contact Centre. 
Quality Customer Engagement: 
  • Ensure that a quality relationship is nurtured with all stakeholders within the client from the first engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for projects and improvements with customers which will help their journey. Inform Lead Consultant: Modern Communications of such opportunities.
  • Maintain professional and respectful interactions with clients, contributing to a positive delivery experience. 
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both internal teams and customers regarding technical tasks or blockers. 
  • Promote and contribute to a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing. 
Ensure Alignment with Transparity Processes: 
  • Deliver work in line with Transparity’s quality standards and development best practices (e.g., Microsoft baselines). 
  • Confirm task scope and priorities with Project Managers or Technical Leads before execution. 
  • Follow change management and escalation protocols for any deviations or issues encountered. 
  • Complete accurate and timelytimesheets to reflect all client and internal activities.

We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following
  • Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Teams, Conditional Access, and Intune. 
  • Ability to deliver an excellent customer experience. 
  • Understanding of SIP telephony with the ability to troubleshoot issues. 
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to expand knowledge through exposure and training. 
  • Flexibility, as out-of-hours support for migrations will be required from time to time. The business expects the successful applicant to support these with reciprocal flexibility.
