Technical Architect: Digital Workplace

Who we're looking for
The Technical Architect for Digital Workplace provides technical guidance for the Microsoft 365 platform, supporting the design, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-level solutions. Serving as the main escalation point within the team, the Architect addresses complex technical issues using established methods and practices.

This position is responsible for managing the architectural design process from initial assessment through to project completion, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple projects, and contributing to pre-sales activities. The role involves leading Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including those related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and shifting environments from hybrid to cloud-only configurations. The Architect also supports team development through mentorship, roadmap planning, and facilitating the adoption of new technologies.
What you'll be delivering
  • Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to capture business and technical requirements.
  • Design and document high-quality technical solutions, including HLDs, LLDs, and specifications.
  • Act as the go-to expert for resolving complex technical issues and ensuring architectural consistency.
  • Provide strategic input to shape technical standards, frameworks, and team capabilities.
  • Support pre-sales activities by contributing to proposals and presenting solutions to clients.
  • Oversee delivery quality, validate estimates, and ensure alignment with Microsoft best practices.
  • Mentor consultants, lead knowledge-sharing sessions, and drive continuous improvement across the practice.
We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following
  • Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and Endpoint Manager/Intune.
  • Skilled in leading workshops, producing HLDs/LLDs, and owning solution design end-to-end.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid environments, Azure AD, identity management, and integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Tenant-to-Tenant migrations and transitioning from hybrid to cloud-only setups.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Bonus skills: PowerShell, Graph API, migration tooling (e.g. ShareGate), Google Workspace migrations, and Microsoft certifications (SC/Enterprise Admin).
